My school was an experiment. Unusual because it wasn't under the umbrella of The Ministry of Education and Development; and it's faculty were employed by the university, under the rules of the Ministry of Higher Education. That might be why our teachers were a mix of old-style, Golestan pros and young renegades - most of them graduate students at Pahlavi University - who probably had read a few banned books, but they were particularly good in their science.
